Hmm... this might be the wrong beer, but I bought a beer called Tradition Biere Blonde in a 25cl bottle. Anyway, the beer was really bad, with barely any head. A creepy orange color. And it smelled of corn and tasted of corn, sugar, and metal. If this is the wrong beer then it is probably not too different from this one.

This generic beer has little aroma with a light complexion and very little carbonation. It taste light on the sip with little palate and lacks any depth!

Light yellow to straw coloured beer with oranges tinges throughout. There is a white, bubbly head that fades to a tiny, thin lacing after thirty seconds or so.

Corn and some vegetable adjuncts with a little bit of skunk to it. The aroma is pretty basic and consists mainly of grain and a tiny amount of hops.

Corn, grain and vegetable adjuncts and a touch of sweetness. Again it is very basic and plain here without tasting too unpleasant.

Light and sweet on the palate with some grain although mainly and strongly carbonated.

Soon after trying this one, and probably as soon as I bought it I knew this one wasn’t going to be a winner. Cheap although not altogether nasty and probably a safer bet than the other 10% abv beers that were available in the shop. Not a memorable beer but I wasn’t expecting much more from it anyway.

Can 33cl named as Citadelle. A clear yellow beer with low head. Almost no smell. Aroma is very low on grain and hops, only a small bitterness at the end, near to Kronenbourg kind of watery stuff.

stubbie bottle. Bought @ asda : Better than Kronenburg , not as nice as Pelforth blonde for some French perspective . I like French beer anyhow. Trois3monts and Jenlian ranges of biere de gardes are classy . this smells grainy and like carboad ..with sugars and syrupy malt. Flavours are just overly sweet ...then some grainess. chewey and richwith justa bit of dryness. Hop bitterness is on the low low.

Bottled, 250ml from Carrefour, Coquelles, France. Pale yellow, straw with fizzed white head. Corny, starchy flavour with wet cardboard background. Little in the way of hop or any other interesting flavour. Had to but a 6 pack for this rate, still it was cheap.

well i think i got the right one here - it was one of those economy pack of stubby euro-imports that are available in UK supermarkets. tastes mostly like sweetened water but somehow it had more pathetic charm than a bud, so hence the overall boost.
