3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from Carrefour and drunk at home. Clear pale amber gold colour with lasting thin off white head. It’s a light blond Belgian ale. Tastes like a Belgian yeast rather than a lager yeast. Just a light commercial Belgian ale. Decent I thought, nothing wrong. Some sting on the finish. Absolutely fine as a beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Straight from the can for this one. Malty-based aroma, nice taste with a pleasant bitterness at the start, fades away in the end. Nice carbonation level, thin to medium body, watery texture. Ok, not an abbey beer, but not that bad.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
50 cl can from Carrefour, Chania. Pours clear golden small white head. Aroma is very shy malty, weak fruits. Taste is the same, malty caramel, touch of butterscothc, very high carbonated, not a brew for me. Artificial.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Typical supermarket Leffe clone. Perfumed strong lager. Easy drinking and pleasant and cheap. Unexciting and unrefined but drinkable.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Golden bubbly brew with frothy grey head. Very mild aroma, light sweet maltsand raisin . Very straightforward and simple. Heavy carbonation, buttertaste and llittle malty caramel. No hop to be found. Unexciting, but evenworse it tastes bbuttery and artificial. Please stop brewing this and marketing it as an authentic abbey beer. You’re misleading customers and giving them tasteless swill. (50cl can, labelled as Carrefour l’Abbaye, brewed by EMB 62765) Note that this a different beer than the 75cl bottles sold by the same name...
