2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle 25cl, a clear copper bear. Aroma is on spices, barley sugar and peppery hops. Low body, very classic for a poor abbey beer.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Light golden body with white frothy unstable head. Cheap malts, clearly present clean yeast and sweet bread. Very sweet base taste with an astringency in the ending. Very heavy carbonation, sweet sticky ending. Bad, boring and too sweet. Please stop misleading customers advertising this as abbey beer. It’s industrially produced beer with a stupid label. (75cl bottle, labelled as Carrefour l?Abbaye, brewed by EMB 59178) Note that this is different from the 50cl cans sold by Carrefour with the same name.
