COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brown Cow herds forth a complex biscuit and dark toast aroma. A beige head corrals this brilliant copper brown beer. Seven different malts with balancing hops round out the medium dry finish. Amazing! This Cow wonít steer you wrong.

Pint on tap. Clear copper-brown with a small ring of cream. Aroma is toasted nut with the shell, cocoa and a touch of caramel. Flavor is the same with a bit more cocoa. Light-medium body has a nice balance, maybe more to the dry side than most browns. Medium carbonation.

Brown, no head. Smells like caramel and toffee, with some earthy notes. Taste is earthy and a little woody. Pretty standard, but not bad.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white to light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, nuts), lightly to moderately hoppy (orange, grapefruit). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy/watery texture, lively carbonation. Pleasant, simple nose, but too sweet and syrupy in the mouth to drink much of.

[Tap] Deep brown colored pour with a foamy head. Nose of grainy malts, toast and some chocolate. Flavors include hazelnut, cocoa, sweet breads, caramel and dried grains. Mild earthy hop and graininess in the finish. A decent beer.

This is one of those brown ales that veers into porter country which is a-okay by me. Itís brownish read w/ a thin but long-lasting head of fine bubbles. This is a malt-focused brew w/ roast and caramel flavors in about equal measure. It is pleasantly full bodied w/ creamy carbonation that gives just a bit of prickle. This is a rich and full flavored brew that is still smooth and very drinkable. Brown ale is a style that doesnít turn a lot of heads but if you are a fan of the style, youíll love this stuff.

Pours clear nutty brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is nutty and malt. Taste is clean, nutty with notes of roasted malt. Has a nice malt taste. Not a bad brown ale.

New brewery for me and this one is of high quality. Nutty and roasted malt flavor with a chocolate flavored finish. Really easy to drink and smells of roasted malt. Had out of a bottle at home ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
