Brown Cow herds forth a complex biscuit and dark toast aroma. A beige head corrals this brilliant copper brown beer. Seven different malts with balancing hops round out the medium dry finish. Amazing! This Cow wonít steer you wrong.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Slight toasted malt aroma, with a floral backdrop Appearance- Pours a nice brown color with amber streaks. Has a nice thick off-white colored head. Taste- Has a malt and nut flavor, I am not floored by the flavor. It is OK Palate- A heavy bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Overall- A slightly better than average beer.

12 oz. bottle from shrubber85- thanks again, Roger! Pours a cloudy reddish brown with an inch of lasting frothy khaki colored head that leaves some lace. Notes of toasted and chocolate malts, grass, florals, tobacco, and earth. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, barely sweet, earthy mouthfeel. Certainly has a little more hop presence than most straight-up brown ales. Iíve only had two beers from these guys, and they seem to play with styles a wee bit without straying too far from intent. Two usually boring styles, two intriguing beers. Good stuff.

Pours clear cinnamon brown with a substantial, if somewhat effervescent, buff head. Aroma has roast malt and woody hop notes to it, not much else. Flavor is a little more substantial, and adds bready and chocolate notes to the mix. Thin texture lacks fizz, but it still goes down nicely. How now, Brown Cow?

On tap. Served a dark brown with a foamy head. Aroma of malt, nut and bit of chocolate. Taste of roasted malt, nut, with bit of chocolate. Nice bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Moderate body, smooth, with a lingering bitterness. not a bad beer but hoped for a bit more.

12oz bottle from Binnys. I feel like 50% of these small brewery beers I pick up from Binnys are infected. Unfiltered amber brown body. Big gushing head. Infected...biting. What a friggin bunch of losers.

Pours a clear but deep brown with thick cap of tan head that leaves good lace. Aroma of nice nuttiness over caramel malt and earth tones. Taste follows, nice balance, creamy mouth. Pretty nice for a brown ale.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Nearly clear dark brown, solid beige head, strips of lace. Aroma of malt with light hops and vanilla. Taste is lightly toasted malt with biscuit and a little cedar. All moves smoothly to a light hopped finish. A decent brew.

Pint on tap. Clear copper-brown with a small ring of cream. Aroma is toasted nut with the shell, cocoa and a touch of caramel. Flavor is the same with a bit more cocoa. Light-medium body has a nice balance, maybe more to the dry side than most browns. Medium carbonation.
