COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Red Revolution awakens with a copper sunrise framed by a firm tan head. Luscious wheat and caramel malt connect with earthy hops to form a firm alliance. One taste of this Dawn and youíll join our cause.

Pours clear, dark, reddish copper, almost mahogany, with a fairly thick buff head. This is a wheat? Fruity aroma has wheat and citrus tones plus a malty underpinning. OK, itís a wheat. Flavor has fairly bold wheat, citrus, malt and woody tones plus more than a hint of caramel. Some pear hops out in the finish. Hey, itís dawn somewhere - and some dawns are red.

12oz bottle. What looks to be a filtered amber-orange body. Thin of white head. The aroma is kind of gross, some earthy mildsour garbage tones on top of the malt. The body is relatively mild, and even though the wheat and amber malt are an odd combination, they work here, as both malts are rather mild. The caramel malts balances it, but also keeps it firmly planted in an antiquated 90s brewpub feel. Not an impressive offering, amateurish.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber with a ring of off white head. Aroma and taste of malts, caramel, and faint hops.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear amber brown color, solid ivory head, spots and streaks of lace. Clean malt opens things, followed by carbonation and hops in the finish that are present, but donít upset what is already there. A satisfying, although unconventional, wheat ale.

Light, sweet. A little maltier. Some caramel. Pretty smooth with just enough hops.

Reddish brown, thin ring of foam. Smells toasty, very lightly smoky, and maybe some cedar.Toasty flavor, mixed with some pine and grassy notes. Some sweet grape notes as it warms. Not bad.

12 oz. Pours lightly hazy copper with a lasting disc of foam. Mild, but pleasant aroma of earthy orange toffee, mineral water and green herb. Tastes of toffee, wheat flour, toasted pecan with the bitter pith, and citrus zest rolled in peat. Near-medium body is mostly smooth with a medium-high carbonation and a good balance. This is a tasty brew and a nicely different entry in an otherwise unnecessary and mostly awful style category.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel, cookie), moderately hoppy (apricot, orange, flowers), with a note of honey. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy/watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Nice aroma on this one...tropical-fruity and honeyish. Surprisingly sweet in the mouth without enough bitterness to balance, and kinda syrupy too, so sadly itís not all that much fun to drink. Overall ok. Much more in the vein of a regular Amber Ale than an American Wheat.

2oz on tap at hopcat. Clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Some interesting spice, kind of fall and pumpkin-esque, I donít mind it. Mild caramel. Moderate bitter, moderate sweet, kind of dry. Medium body, smooth kind of soft lighter carbonation, mild dry finish. A pretty solid red, flavorful wheat ale.
