A golden refreshing beer which represents the classic Mexican Lager tradition.

From a Quart bottle poured in a glass. Clear urine appearance. Flavor is crisp and watery. Light grain malt. At least it’s not disgusting and doesn’t have any weird adjunct or metallic flavors like a lot of cheap beer. Acceptable lawnmower beer, but there’s better ones out there for the money.

Yet another light Mexican lager. Pours dark yellow with a head that evaporates rather quickly. Light on the mouth. Tastes has a hint of grain and toast, some sweetness, and a hint of hops in the finish. Malt and a hint of fruit in the nose.

In my opinion Mexico brews the best beer in the world. This is an excellent example of a great pilsner.

This beer is flat, watery, metallic. It sucks. That’s really what it comes down to.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. A- Bread, herbs. A- Golden color, clear liquid, white head. T- Slightly malty, funky tones. P- Light body, average texture, lively carbonation, dry finish. O- Started out okay, but gained a herby and skunky taste the more I drank of it.

Bottle - fair size foamy head, light gold color, sweet corn aroma and flavor, pretty typical Mexican beer but certainly not bad by any means ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Among Mexican beers, Carta Blanca is the only one I liked the most so far. It has more taste, more aroma, malty and a bit alcoholic.

Radek Kliber (6470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - OCT 8, 2013
Bottle 355 ml
Aroma: frontal sweet raspberry hints. Overly sweet and fruity to be labeled as pale lager.
Apperance: clear golden with medium bright top. Average life span. No lace, rings.
Taste/Palate etc. thin, very thin. Watery wash out with slight grainy character. Not as sweet as aroma gave. Mineral watery backing. Plain is understatement.

ttoadee (652) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 4, 2013
Clear gold, no head. Grain in the nose. Slightly sweet. Middle is soft grain. Finish shows a little hop bitterness. Refreshing, but not much else.

Notes of corn, biscuit, pils yeast and stale malt. Light German hop presence. Not the worst.
