COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden refreshing beer which represents the classic Mexican Lager tradition.

(can) Poured golden yellow. A little fizz, not much head. Corn taste, but smooth. Above average Mexican macro. Not a good beer.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2006 I have not tried this one before and certainly had not been missing much. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with a small white head. The aroma is lightly skunky and vegetal. The flavor is lightly malty with a sour tang finish.

Pours pale yellowwith fizzy white head. Nose is faint sourness. The flavor is artificial... adjunct (corn), sour off notes, ketotic. No aftertaste. Not good.

Oh yeah, this is the good stuff. Not. It pours normal enough--yellow and fizzy. And the aroma isn’t terrible--sweet corn and a bit of skunk, but mostly just a boring lager (nothing too offensive). The flavor was more problematic, with a lot of cardboard, a quick finish, and a overall composition that left a watery, unhappy finish in my mouth. I drank the whole bottle, so at least it isn’t a drainpour, but it is still pretty bad.

Typical Mexican swill that goes good with lime, horrible sans lime. Cheap stuff.

Eh...This was okay. Fairly standard lager, nothign too impressive. It is fairly smooth, and is a good compliment to spicy food. However, it is nothing memorable, and not worth seeking.

A very light flavored beer. Not bad to wash down the hot stuff, but thats about all. Tastes like a better Bud (which ain’t nothing to brag about, but at least it’s not the worse). Not one of my favorite Mexican picks.
