Can, medium stable head, a touch hazy deep golden colour, malty aroma, lasting bitterness with a slight fruity sweetness, short fruity sour bitterness. Not offensive, but not really good either.

12oz bottles. This was way better than the PBR cans I was trying to drink, and seemed better than the liene’s honey weiss. Fairly clean lager. Not really a lot of flavor, but subtle and fairly clean.

Pours pale golden, minimal head, no lacing to speak of. Floral aroma. Taste is about what you’d expect for the price. Yippy skippy.

Yellow and fizzy. Grain aroma. Watery, grainy malts with a metallic finish. No hop characteristic. Blah.

Some Mexican place in South Park Slope 32oz ($3): It was a hot day. It was either this or Corona or Heineken. I’ve never had this, so I decided to give it a try. All in all, I was not upset with my purchase. The beer is simple, exceedingly so. Some corn is up in there as well. But there is a mild sweetness, and almost no taste of hops. Yet, the beer is quite crisp and actually not too bad.

Yellow pour. Whitish head. Old hops, smelly malts...stinky. Flavor is even worse. Bad brew. Awful actually. Tick tick tick.

Yellow pour. Looks like something you’d expel at the end of the night after drinking beer. Nose and taste is well, just lacking. Malt water. Rated 6/22/02
