UPDATED: FEB 15, 2004 Nice light lager. Great summer beer. Better than Corona. Not much head and has a little fruity taste.

Massive 1 quart bottle. ONE QUART!! Pours a clear yellow with a small diminishing white head. Mild aroma is sweet, corny and grainy along with faint fruit and grassy hops. Watery flavour of corn, grain, light grassy hops and maybe some honey. Light bitter finish. Light bodied. Another bland, yet inoffensive Mexican Pale Lager -- sooo dull.

An inoffensive but featureless Mexican pale lager. It doesn’t help the I tried this after a Bohemia. Needless to say, I switched back to ordering Bohemia.

12 oz bottle, at a chain Mexican restaurant in Rockford, IL. Very pale, corn aroma, some head retention; very sweet to the tongue, weak and light, but not stale and quite drinkable.

Light yellow with a fizzy white head. Faint malty aroma and taste with a sweet slightly grainy finish.

Pours very clear golden, thin white head. Aroma is rather poor and light with notes of grains. Taste, grainy, hoppy with light pale malts. Sweet and fresh mouthfeel with notes of citrus. Finish is crisp and bubbly.

This brew poured a medium head of fine to medium sized white mostly lastin bubbles that left behind a fair lacing and a softly carbonated transparent orange colored body. It hd a mild malt aroma if it had any aroma at all! Its mild malt hop flavor was nothing special and its mouthfeel was smooth and thin from start to finish.

The more Mexican beer I drink - the more I believe that they are all the same. No aroma. sticky marshmallow-like head - clean, clear pour with little bit of bubble action. Crisp flavor to offset spicy Mexican food. Nothing offensive here - just not something to write home about.

Clear gold, smallish white head. Sweetish, bready aroma. Lightly flavored and watery, and a hint of sweet corn flavor at finish. Ever so slightly viscous mouthfeel.

A: The pour is just about the same as many other beers of the same vain. S: What a smell. Corn, cardboard, skunk, and grass. There is a little bit of a grain smell and a decent sweetness to it. Pretty bad, but I guess I’ve smelled worse. T: A lot of corn with an astringent grain flavor to it. Skunky and a touch of metal is present as well. Some sour/tartness to it and a bit of grass. M: The body is light with a moderate to high level of carbonation. D: There are certainly worse beers out there, but this one is pretty bad and I could not recommend this one.
