Bottle at Jovita’s. Pours pale yellow with white short lived head, or so I imagine if I actually poured this into a glass... Smell was not of much, but a touch of light malt and watery. Taste was very clean for a pale lager and fairly bland. Very light sweetness and almost non-existant bitterness. Smooth, refreshing and easy to drink without much fuss or flavor.

An average beer, but not the worst from Mexico. Definitely good value, and tastes not so bad. Not as watery as Corona and has better colour and a slightly more robust head.

I would say that this beer is at the upper end of the pissy mexiswills. Reminded me of a Shiner Blonde, but with a satisfying fruity twang in the finish....save for the beach though.

It’s mexican. Expect little, be pleasantly suprised. This is all you can get in Boys’ Town outside of Acuna. Don’t ask me how I know that.

Bottle - I like this one! One of the very few Mexican beers I’ve ever said this about. Minimal aroma - some malt. Typcial lager appearance. Pale yellow with a white head. Not a lot of flavor, either, but some malt. Next to no hops anywhere around, but it went very well with the food.

An ok beer but it wasn’t really anything special. Good for Mexico, better than a Corona. Good with Mexican food.

The greatest thing about Carta Blanca is you have to buy it in Mexico in the short, stubby bottle - they make the bottles with a little indentation on the bottom so you can put one bottle on top of the otther and open them - a pretty simple idea but I think its pure genius. Beer is pretty good as well - nice malt/hops flavor - not too strong - pleasant mild beer.
