Carters Black Magic Porter

On draught at the brewery’s taproom in downtown Billings, Montana. Pours a semi-opaque dark brown brew with a creamy, light tan head that slowly dissolves to a fine film and thin ring. Aroma of mostly dark chocolate malt, a touch of toffee and even some light mocha. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation with a semi-sweet flavors of dark roasted malt, dark chocolate and a touch of citrus/pine. Chinnock hops, maybe? Finish has a great balance of dark chocolate, grain malt and hop bitterness that makes this a fine American style porter.
