Nov 7, 2007 On draught at the brewery’s taproom in downtown Billings, Montana. Pours a hazy caramel amber brew with a thin and fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a fine film and thin ring. Aroma of light toasted caramel malt, a touch of pepper spice, and flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, some light carbonation along with flavors of semi-sweet caramel malt, fruity characters of apple/pears and a dry bitterness. Finish has a very short dry fuggles hops bitterness that quickly finishes clean.
