On draught at the brewery’s taproom in downtown Billings, Montana. Pours a clear golden pale yellow brew with an excellent creamy white head that has some decent lacing and retention. Aroma has a very flowery scent of lilacs, some light bready malt and a touch of citrus. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of light caramel malt, grapefruit and orange zest and a touch of pine. Finish is slightly bitter at first and then finishes with a semi-sweet citrus aftertaste. One of the most unique American Pale Ales I’ve encountered.
