Like all things truly Jersey, 077XX makes the most in balancing through its accentuation of extremes. Inspired by the west coast IPAs we love, we added a thump of hops to a dynamic malt profile and chose a yeast to drive these two further than they wanted to go. Throw our water into this mix and you will find dank green resinous hops popping over orange, mango and papaya aromas, with just enough sweetness of body to make the long finish a pleasure to have around. A double IPA perfect for adding fuel to the fire of a dinner, a game, or an idea, drink it when your night matters.

Nice grapefruit aroma. Flavor is a little less exciting. Still really citrusy but the bitterness gets in the way. Malt does some balancing. Very clear golden color with a nice white cap. Body is a little light.

Big can at home - extra in a trade. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a big white head and sticky lacing. Grassy, husky, straw, lemony, light citrus notes and oranges in the aroma. Taste is grassy, lemony, orange peels, some grapefruit, marmalade, light bread, crackers, and straw with a big bitter finish. Medium body with high cabronation. Nice DIPA without being over-the-top - highly chuggable.

Growler from Joe Canalís in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Hazy medium gold color with a small rocky beige head. Slightly dank hoppy nose with a hint of ground mustard seed. Flavor is more of the same with notes of bitter lemon and dandelion greens. Some tropical fruit notes as well. Mid taste brings bready malt that is quickly engulfed by the complex spicy, bitter hop bill. Finish is white grapefruit and arugula greens. Nicely done.

Poured a semi.hazy.golden color with a white head. Aroma was of dank and cat pee hops, resinous and lightly piney. Flavor similar, a bit sweeter and heavier than I would have liked for a sub 8% beer.

Can. Poured a clear orange with a small sudsy white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, and tropical. Flavor was grapefruit, pine, mango, some orange. Medium body, thin, but sticky texture. Carbonation was bubbly, with some bitterness to finish. Solid beer.

473ml can. Golden pour. The aroma of this one is pure diesel leading me to think mosaic. Flavor is a good bitter wc ipa.

473ml can. Clear golden shade. White head. Aroma of hop oils, grapefruit, pine. Taste is floral hops, white grape, light tropical fruits. Manageably bitter, in fact there is a distinct sweetness underpinning it. Really solid DIPA that isnít far off some of the best in style.
