COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like all things truly Jersey, 077XX makes the most in balancing through its accentuation of extremes. Inspired by the west coast IPAs we love, we added a thump of hops to a dynamic malt profile and chose a yeast to drive these two further than they wanted to go. Throw our water into this mix and you will find dank green resinous hops popping over orange, mango and papaya aromas, with just enough sweetness of body to make the long finish a pleasure to have around. A double IPA perfect for adding fuel to the fire of a dinner, a game, or an idea, drink it when your night matters.

Can: Thanks, Jason. Bright, cloudy yellow body with a bright white, soapy white head that fades to a thin collar pretty quickly. Aroma of wet pine, dank resins, hemp oil, grass, faint green onion, zesty orange peel, grapefruit rind, mild white pepper spiciness, & a light essence of tropical fruit rounding out the finish; not much malt to be detected at all. Taste is quite "green" with a raunchy dirty dank profile & earthiness that lightens up with more modest notes of pine resin, oil, & grapefruit peel. Light white pepper, ashy hops, & some bitter citrus peel lead into a dry finish with only a hint of crackery malt.

16oz can pours cloudy pale orange with small thin head. Nose is dank herbal grassy pine fruit, mango, peach, citrus. Taste has soft mouthfeel with touches of crackery malt and nice juicy tropical fruit and grassy resin. Finish is bitter with hints of biscuit and lingering mango, pineapple, pine. Very nice and would buy this all the time if I could.

The aroma on this beer is one of the best I’ve smelled in awhile. It’s super juicy and fresh, green and piney. Flavor isn’t as intense but only makes it more drinkable. Green fresh hops, clean pine and plenty if grapefruit... Plenty. Seriously, this is a great rendition of an imperial. And worth every sip

Nice tropical fruits character with papaya and mango sweetness, moderate bitterness. A pretty drinkable and tasty example of the style, not incredible but definitely a worthy addition to the Carton stable.

Yellow/orange color with a nice white head. Good combo of citrusy hops and resinous flavors as well. Pretty tasty.

Fresh can. Pours orange/gold with tall frothy head. Lots of carbonation here. Fresh pine and orange in the nose...lesser notes of grapefruit and/or tangerine. Flavor is west coast ipa all the way - aggressive hop notes here. Some melon too which I hadn’t expected. Fresh and vibrant aroma and clean on the palate. Really refreshing IPA.

Got this is a random trade. Can into a pint glass. Moderate foam that dissipates. Awesome aroma. Comparable to Abrasive. I really like this DIPA a lot and I had never heard of the brewery before cracking the can.

Pours a pretty hazy golden with a finger of head that lingers. Nose is tons of tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, floral hops. Taste is aggressive fresh hop, hop is on the dank side, tropical fruits are a bit masked, a bit of sweetness but it's tempered well, high bitterness on the finish that lingers. It delivers on the hoppiness, I loved the fruit on the nose but wanted more in the taste. Also very bitter, maybe needs a bit more balance. But overall very solid. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
