Like all things truly Jersey, 077XX makes the most in balancing through its accentuation of extremes. Inspired by the west coast IPAs we love, we added a thump of hops to a dynamic malt profile and chose a yeast to drive these two further than they wanted to go. Throw our water into this mix and you will find dank green resinous hops popping over orange, mango and papaya aromas, with just enough sweetness of body to make the long finish a pleasure to have around. A double IPA perfect for adding fuel to the fire of a dinner, a game, or an idea, drink it when your night matters.

Pours a pretty hazy golden with a finger of head that lingers. Nose is tons of tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, floral hops. Taste is aggressive fresh hop, hop is on the dank side, tropical fruits are a bit masked, a bit of sweetness but it's tempered well, high bitterness on the finish that lingers. It delivers on the hoppiness, I loved the fruit on the nose but wanted more in the taste. Also very bitter, maybe needs a bit more balance. But overall very solid. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tall boy, your decent dips, not too thick or boozy. Good hop flavors and citrus finish with sweetness in there

Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was pine, tropical fruits, perfume and had a tangy presence. The flavor was pine, lemon, catbox and perfume with a sweet tangy undertone. Long pine and lemon finish. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

500ml can in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of citrusy and lightly fruity and resinous hops, pale malts, some dough and bread, and light caramel sweetness. Flavor the same. Average texture. A solid double IPA.

Pours a hazy gold with a thick white head. Aroma of grassy hops, big bitter grapefruit, juicy and resinous with a sweet malt presence. Taste is sweet malt, with bitter pine and citrus, loads of grapefruit. Great balance of sweet and bitter. Solid dipa

Pretty decent dipa. Aroma is super dank and resinous with light bitter orange and grapefruit. Taste is mildly sweet with a bit of a harsh lingering bitter finish that isnt the best.

Draft at the brewery. A nice local double ipa I've had many times. Lemon and grassy floral notes dominate with decently high carb. A little harsh on the aftertaste but very good overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

grapefruit pith bitter and i liked the way this beer hits you in stages. sugary sweet red grapefruit juicy though the beer is not at all red in fact it’s rather pale and unassuming. bit of pine and substantial body reveals it’s bit of syrup of caramel malt. and everything wafts in and out nicely ending in bitter pith and wafting grapefruit and sugar. nice.

Yellow gold draft from Bridgeview in sleepy hollow. Piney hops and citrus. Not too malty.
