COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like all things truly Jersey, 077XX makes the most in balancing through its accentuation of extremes. Inspired by the west coast IPAs we love, we added a thump of hops to a dynamic malt profile and chose a yeast to drive these two further than they wanted to go. Throw our water into this mix and you will find dank green resinous hops popping over orange, mango and papaya aromas, with just enough sweetness of body to make the long finish a pleasure to have around. A double IPA perfect for adding fuel to the fire of a dinner, a game, or an idea, drink it when your night matters.

Growler from the brewery thanks to Carolyn for Fathers Day. Poured a good looking hazy gold with a small/average sized frothy bright white head. Aroma of earthy citrus, citrus rind and tangerine, crusty bread. Fuller bodied with strong carbonation and a bitter harsh and dry finish. Flavor of dry citrus rind, touch of caramel, bread crust and dry hop flowers. Love the brewery and the guys there, this DIPA not as much.

Can. Pours clear orange, medium creamy off-white head, dissipates slowly, solid lacing. Aroma is pretty dank and herbal, cat piss. Flavor is light plus sweet and quite bitter, resinous with a strong IBU kick. Not a lot of tropical here, mostly pine, pot and palate slapping. Medium body, resinous, some finishing heat which is a bit surprising for a sub 8% beer.

Big can @ my parents’ basement, courtesy of arminjewell. Thanks Armin! Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a cream colored head. Dry, grainy, herbal nose. Vanilla cake, lemon, green hops in the aroma. A little spritzy. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Chewy and doughy. Spicy and resiny. Very distinctive. Pretty fine.

Pour out of 16 oz can, slightly hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange jam, bread, dough, some slight tropical fruit, touch of white fruit. Taste was a mix of orange jam, grapefruit, sweet caramelized sugars, slight mango, finishing fairly bitter, slightly sweet.

Can at home thanks to Mac! Pours hazy golden Amber, average white head with good retention. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus, lightly sweet. Taste is tropical fruit, apricots and citrus. Medium bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Pretty good, a lower ABV DIPA. Was expecting a bit more malt presence.

Can from sloth. Pours a decent orange color with a frothy head. Nose of hops, slight fruity notes. Taste is a classic east coast IPA... Hoppy but the malt presence takes away from taste and over all experience of a DIPA. Taste is average. Medium body. Overall nothing to write home about. Thanks to bert for the can!

16oz can pours out a golden topped with a white head. Nose is pineapple and bread malts. Taste is more of the pineapple and some malty end.

East Coast Double IPA. Bitter in the taste, slightly hazy amber pour. Bright and hoppy but way, way bitter. That shit doesn’t fly on the left coast.

Tight, white head, small but lasting as well the lace. Murky, gold body. Nose is nice, peaches and pine. Medium bodied, good carbonation, lightly oily. Slightly dank and fruity hop notes, citrus and some crystal malts that are a touch sweet for me. Finish is a bit malty with a tender bite. Cans from Colliers in Cape may.
