COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boat Beer is designed to be complex enough to merit drinking a few without being crippled by alcohol. Kolsch yeast and German malts are combined to be crisp and refreshing, while a generous amount of American hops have been added to keep it remarkable. Expect it to dance out of the glass with a whack of grapefruit and open into a crisp, stony tangle of white and yellow fruit with pine and moss notes. An IPA for everyday drinking, drink boat beer when you are thirsty from softball, fishing, or explaining why your team is best.

Very easy drinking session with watery hops plagued by grapefruit and pine. Foggy pour with citrusy dishwater aroma. Very good for its purpose and can be thrown down in quantity. Cheers!

Hazy gold pour. Small, small white head. No lacing. Big aromas of orange, lemon, grapefruit and pine. Taste is slight roasted corn. Not much else. Watery hops.

16 oz. can from PhillyCraft. Thanks Vin! It pours a very hazy pale yellow color with a disappearing white head. The aroma is fantastic with florals, kumquat, tangerine, mango, hints of melon and hop spice. The flavor is intense with grapefruit that turns into a rather strong pithy bitterness in the finish. There’s also some florals and light pine notes to go along with heavy grapefruit and tangerine citrus. Very light, crisp and clean on the palate with very little malt presence except for some minor white cracker notes. Acidity is high for the style and borders on astringent due the what seems like a massive dry hop for such a small beer. Super tasty and absolutely crushable. Love this.

16 oz can. Misty straw with white froth. Nose is mango, pine, toffee and pink grapefruit. Crisp with biting carb and a resiny finish. Tastes like it smells; more grapefruit and pine with lemon oil. Great hop blast for the ABV; almost too much for sessioning.

16 oz. can, huge thanks to Augie for bringing this down from the brewery. Turbid straw pour, gorgeous fluffy white head. Nose is rich, divine, and loaded with sweet pink grapefruit, a touch of peach, lemongrass, clean hay, and white pine. Flavor is a bit more restrained on the hop flavor with a touch more crisp grain, but drinkable and stellar. I could absolutely put a hurting on a case of this on a nice day. Good shit.
