Tap at PH, pours a golden color with thin white head, no lacing to note. Aromas and taste are tart sour apples, lemon, and othe crisp fruit skins. Somewhat puckery but finished refreshing. Light to medium bodied. Pretty solid beer.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Nice dry tartness with a hint of berry sweetness, followed by a quick and pleasant tart finish. Really good.

tap at Bierkraft - pleasing tartness and berry sweetness in the nose and palate. Lemony acidic, light sweetness, but finish is very dry, slightly cotton-y and lemon pepper. Perfect session beer!

Growler fill from a recent trade... Pours a somewhat hazy golden yellow orange, mostly transparent though, and topped with a vivid white creamy frothy white head that quickly reduces down to a ring around the collar of the glass... Aroma of tart lactic lemony accents with a pale metallic bites that becomes less noticeable almost completely absent as it warms. A slight pale grain accents surface on the backend. Fairly clean after the metallic note faded... Flavors offer much of the same with lemony sour lactic character is most evident. Clean and refreshing. Light bodied as expected with semi-lively carbonation. Nice and quenching - well executed for the style.

UPDATED: APR 18, 2013 Growler. Light red-tinted golden color with a white head. Aroma is sour, acidic, berries and some light malt. There’s also a brown sugar/cookie smell to it. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly sour, with more berry notes. Finish is crisp, lightly dry. Light bodied, well carbonated. Great for a hot summer day, very refreshing. Very good Berliner.

Smells of acidic, fermented fruit along with some barnyard. On the palate, the flavors are predominantly lemon and red berries. Super light on the palate and indescribably refreshing.

Growler from Spirits Manahawkin. Pours out a mostly clear, light golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of tart berries, funk, light sweetness and some bread. Taste is complex, but very light and drinkable, tart berries, funk, light bready sweetness, very refreshing and very well balanced.
