The key to a sessionable beer is the way it evolves over time well spent. Here we took an extremely dark malt bill and smashed it against the sweetness of milk, then we wafted black currant notes of Bullion hops through the middle. Nuanced to keep it an I ferreting part of a gathering while neither dominating not being inconsiquential to banter. Drink Carton of Milk because it does a session good.

Nearly black nitro pour with big creamy brown head. Sweet roasty aroma. Light but full of flavor, hints of sweetness and roast malt. Creamy finish. Another great Carton beer.

Tap at Rattle N’ Hum. Pours black, big Nitro tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is chocolate, coffee finish. A little too watery for me for a Nitro. Oh well.

I had it on tap. It pours very dark brown. The aroma was roasty and coffee. The taste was also very roasty with coffee flavor and roasted peanuts. There was also a nice milky and sugary sweetness. It was very smooth and balanced.

On tap at Moor Pat in Williamsville, NY. Dark pour, minimal brown head. Sweet, very sweet,, a little bit of chocolate. Pretty light, drinkable, doesn’t overwhelm you.

Growler I picked up at the brewery pours a watery black with some cloudy, white head. Nose has milk chocolate, mild toast, some molasses. Flavor follows, malty, molasses, brown sugar, milk chocolate. Finishes thin. Drinkable.
