The key to a sessionable beer is the way it evolves over time well spent. Here we took an extremely dark malt bill and smashed it against the sweetness of milk, then we wafted black currant notes of Bullion hops through the middle. Nuanced to keep it an I ferreting part of a gathering while neither dominating not being inconsiquential to banter. Drink Carton of Milk because it does a session good.

Nitro tap delivers a lively dark ale with small white head. Chocolate aroma with a sweet malt caramel cocoa mix. Tiny carbonation bubbles and nice sweet short finish deliver this carton to the door.

I had it on tap. It pours very dark brown. The aroma was roasty and coffee. The taste was also very roasty with coffee flavor and roasted peanuts. There was also a nice milky and sugary sweetness. It was very smooth and balanced.

Growler I picked up at the brewery pours a watery black with some cloudy, white head. Nose has milk chocolate, mild toast, some molasses. Flavor follows, malty, molasses, brown sugar, milk chocolate. Finishes thin. Drinkable.

On nitro at the Irish mile..Pours pitch black with a one finger tan head with excellent lacing. Aroma is of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, sweet malts, caramel, and lactose. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body, with a creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, roasty, slightly bitter, medium finish. Overall, a tasty stout that is extdemely sessionable for the style.

Pour from a growler is a nice black body with a light tan head. Aroma is a nice coffee with hints of chocolate. Taste is light with a little sweetness upfront that gives way to a taste of coffee with a little bitterness at the end. Leaves a dry after taste.
