COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There is no doubt variety is the spice of life and we love going off in all kinds of directions looking for new flavors. Like all travel though at some point your heart turns back toward home. Home, robust American ales. This route travels along a path of piney American hops, Simcoe, Cluster, and Horizon their natural course coaxed toward spicy by a touch of rye. Drink Red Rye Returning because home is where the hops is.

Reddish brown color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, light pine, and caramel malts. Taste of caramel, citrus, light pine, and a spicy rye finish. Pretty standard rye red, just not my cup of tea usually.

Tap at Pour House. Poured amber with a tiny off white head and alright lacing. Notes of heavy caramel sweetness. spicy jewish rye, toasty malting and lots of piney hops. Not much citrus. Body was relatively smooth and finshed decent. Needed more carbonation in my opinion.

Draft. Deep reddish-amber with quickly dissipating head. Nose is a little weak. Taste opens with strong piney and citrusy notes and a strong spicy rye finish. Great smooth palate. Very tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
