On tap at the restaurant in Bucharest. Light golden body with a nice white head. Quite ok taste and aroma with some hop and grass notes. The taste is normal good lager with short dry finish.

A beer with pretension but does not quite make it. Smooth though and nice darker yellow color. The bar is pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The look: Clear yellow-blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose has very timid grassy hops and a fructose syrup sweetness. Taste has sweet corn, very light notes of dry grassy hops, mild sweetness, not much bitterness. An overall oily sensation. Fizzy macro-style carbonation that made the body feel empty. Quality-wise this is just a bit above macro beers. It was drinkable because I had it fresh on tap on location but I disagree with the current ratebeer classification as a ‘Bohemian Pilsner’, I’d compare this beer to a fresh Stella Artois at best. This is a Premium Lager at best, maybe even a Pale Lager. I don’t regret having it because Caru cu Bere (the only place where you can drink this beer) is a fun place and a must when visiting Bucharest, so to me this is a nice souvenir tick/rating. But when the waiter asked me if I wanted another one, I ran away so fast I think I lapped three Kenyans and passed the Road Runner.

Draught at Caru cu Bere, Bucharest. Clear golden, small head. Some butter and hay in the nose. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel and light-medium body. A light blanket of hay-like hops covers the straightforward, rather shallow body. Slight bitterness. Seems like a fair attempt to do something good at an industrial brewing plant.

On tap at the restaurant with same name in Bucharest. Yellow clear appearance, white foamy head, slightly moldy taste, mild carbonation, abrupt finish. A generic beer.

Drink at Brewery in Bucharest, Romania. Pale yellow color with a nice white head that keeps a lace until finish. Aroma is quite malty and very light hoppy. Flavor is malty and refreshing very light bitterness. Mouthfell is dry.. Good one.

On tap at the restaurant. Golden body with a good white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with bready hints. Taste is well balanced and ends with a short bitter finish. Good Lager.
