Draft @ brewpub. Deep, deep red-brown. Caramel aroma. Soft, gentle palate. Nutty flavors. Integrated diacetyl. Could use a more assertive malt character but otherwise it’s just fine. Refreshing, juicy with nice bready finish.

Bright nut brown colour. Nutty aroma with a hint of diacetyl. Tastes the same - maybe with a bit of harshness on the palate. I guess it’s okay for a brown.

Not a nut brown fan, and this wasn’t that great anyway. A little too sweet. All malt and a little watery. Overall boring and not something to drink a lot of.

On tap at the Carver Brew Pub in Durango. Poured a deeper amber color (almost brown) with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of roast, nuttiness, and some chocolate.

on tap-pours a white head that laces and reddish brown color. Aroma is faint sweet malt. Taste sweet malt-caramel secondary medium hops. Clean mouth feel. Mild carbonation.

Draft pint at the brewpub, 9/18/06: Reddish brown and silky. Sugary-malty, almost brown-sugary. Filling, like a warm chocolate-chip cookie fresh out of the oven.
