UPDATED: JUL 8, 2005 FOBAB 2004: As an old Black Jack fan, I really liked the aroma of this barley wine. Also the element that the bourbon added to the taste. It’s a thick, syrupy kind of a drink, but it slid down oh so smoothly. There’s a hint of toffee like malts and a dash of bitterness, but what I remember best is that nice bourbon flavor in the finish.
