Vertical Bacon Strips (581), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 23, 2009 Odd, it seems that after one sip i’ve obtained a headache...I never read about that on the bottle label...
Poured out a slightly cloudy light yellow gold beer with an excellent thick, creamy white cap with great retention and 360 degree lacing from the top of the glass right to the bottom. The aroma is dull and very slightly metallic but does have some grain, bread and weak citrus qualities. The taste isn’t that bad after it warms a bit but the underlying sharp bitterness become too obvious later on - almost hot. Taste revolves around corn and grain but the herbal hops exist a bit to large for my palate tonight. Just above light bodied, fairly smooth but my mouth isn’t all that happy. Ends with a lengthy bitter after taste that cannot be muted by the malts. PJClarke (494), London, Surrey, England Jun 20, 2009 Sweetly sterile. Not to much of anything really. Its real quality is an almost floral lightness. The carbonations is horrid and prickly which does detract somewhat from its drinkability. Quite bland, another tick I suppose. Cirrhosis (550), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 2, 2009 The beer looks golden yellow with a hint of brown in my glass, and the small thick white cap lasted about half the beer. A stale metallic apple are the most apparent smells with a good dose of skunk thrown in to, not a great smelling beer at least all the stink went away when the head vanished. The beer tasted musty and metallic but not in a bad way, it has a good malty flavor and goes down very smooth. The beer wasn’t watery feeling like most imports from poorer countries either and wasn’t overly carbonated. I was quit supprised by this beer I thought it would be pure swill and it turned out to be very drinkable. smith4498 (709), Miami, Florida, USA May 31, 2009 Bottle labeled Casa Beer @ EPCOT in Orlando. Pours golden color with white head. Slight malt and grassy hop aromas. Grassy hop flavor with mildly sweet malt finish. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. yesyouam (505), Fairport, New York, USA May 31, 2009 Casa Beer is a very sparkling golden lager with a small, dense, slightly off-white head that has good retention and lacing. It has a faint, light grain aroma with a note of fruitiness; noble characteristics. It is light bodied and smooth with a crisp, dry finish. It has a light, inoffensive taste with notes of lemon and pepper. There is a slightly roasted flavor that surprised me and a slight hint of fruity wooden hops. This is much better than I expected. ogivlado (2870), Zagreb, Croatia May 12, 2009 Bottled(330ml). -as Casablanca Premium Lager. Pale golden coloured, small to medium white head, light grainy nose. Moderate malty, grainy and mild hoppy herbal taste with notes of corn. Boring bitterish finish. Drinkable but nothing special here. plovmand (1192), Helsinge, Denmark May 10, 2009 Bottle shared by faroeviking. Straw yellow body with a small head. Grainy aroma with some fruit and hops. Flavour is grainy with notes of corn and hay. Thin bodied. decaturstevo (1757), decatur, Tennessee, USA Apr 29, 2009 Gold with creamy white head and lace. An aroma a bit like diesel fuel and lemon juice mixed. Corn flavor with a light medium sweetness. Aggressive carbonation to the point of fizzy. The commercial descrip doesn’t list corn. Wow coulda fooled me.
