2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cascade Scottish ale which is supposed to be somewhat soured... Pours a darker mahogany, moStly opaque hue and topped with a thin creamy lightbulb beige head... aroma of muddled caramel malts with hints of tartness and tobacco note...Flavors of earthy light tart caramel malts with a touch of smoke coming through towards the end. Lighter bodied with soft carbonation. Muddled flavored for a base brew that you wouldn’t normally sour.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at the barrel room. Cloudy reddish brown color, off white head. Aroma of sour prunes, a touch of butterscotch, and soft funk. Taste is softly sour apricot. Closer to a sour than a scotch ale. Tasty either way.
