4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
As advertised, dried apricots and apricot skins are immediately apparent in the aroma and flavor.. Followed by tart lactic overtones and mild oak undertones. Dry. VERY TART and mouthwatering... With a lingering tartness that penetrates to your jaw bone.. Simple, refreshing, and well made. A classic.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Let me sum up by saying that this one had too much acetic acid and not enough fruit. Body was nice though. Sharp lactic notes with no real sweetness to counteract it. I didn’t really get any apricot from this or enjoyment for that instance

cascade + upright tasting sessions - thanks to all. pours hazy golden orange with a very nice off-white head, good retention and lacing. dried candied apricots, phenolic, citric and leaning towards an assertive acetic finish - kind of sour (duh). light to medium body, acidic and herbal-grassy finish. more than decent fruity sour but wasn’t diggin’ it that much either..

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750 ml bottle shared with Tom and chums. Pours a veiled orange with a short lived white head. Aroma is apricot, orange, tropical fruit. Flavor is mostly fruity, apricot, orange and some vinegar. Finish is very tart and sour, very dry. Some lingering sugar, and sour candies. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Maybe a bit too tart for my liking, took away from the fruits.

Pours orange with low white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of apricots, acid, sugar. Taste is of extreme and wild apricots (dirty ones), acid acetic. Palate: ligth body. Overall: Good. Hidden alcohol. A bit heavy on acid stuff. Nice apricots.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (750 ml). 2011 project. From J-F, thanks! Hazy golden with a medium off-white head and little lacing. Aroma of apricots, peaches and strong acetic notes... pretty straightforward. Taste is moderately to heavily acetic with apricot and peaches. Alcohol is well hidden, but mostly because of the acetic presence. Medium body. Good carbonation. Dry. Mouth puckering. Ok Sour, but not really complex. It’s acetic and fruity.
