2011. Hazy orange with a clean white head. Lots of citrus aromas, lemon; clean sour; light funk. Apricots hide in the finish, tartness dominates the palate with a biting sour character that sits at the back corners of your tongue. Light body with a mouth-watering finish and medium carbonation. Light but complex sour notes make this a great American sour. Worth seeking out to try, grab a bottle to age.

Bottle big thanks to Andrewje41 for this brew! Pours murky hazy orange hue with a small fizzy soda white head and vigorous carbonation. Nose is big sour apricots, lite woody notes, not all that complex of a nose. Flavors exhibit bigtime sourness and apricots. However, the Apricot sweetness and wood age really does develop this brew into something unique. I must say the palate is very heavily carbontated however, that detracts from the ABV, which is virtually unnoticible. Long finish of apricots, tart sourness, lively oak woody notes and that spritzy carbonation. Cool brew!

Bottle shared with koleminer20. Vintage 2014. Aroma is sour, apricot, funk. Appearance is hazy golden/orange, off-white head. Taste is apricot, sweet then sour. Mouthfeel is biting, harsh carbonation as expected and not great mouthfeel. Overall, not a huge fan of the style so it’s hard to take my word.

750ml corked bottle (2014 Project, 7.6%ABV) pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a generous white head that retains well and leaves some spotty lacing behind. Aroma is apricots with some lemon and yeast and hints of grains. Taste is a lemon tartness with a light fruity and malty sweetness and a dry apricot finish. Medium bodied with abundant carbonation that tickles the tongue. Overall, a well crafted sour ale that is both tasty and balanced.

Bottle: Cantillon Tumbler: Small off white head. Hazy darker yellow body. Aroma is a beautiful mix of funk and apricots with hints of flowers, wood, wild yeast and a little note of acidity. Flavour has more acidity than the classic Lambic beers from Belgium. But this acidity is still good. It’s on the edge of good acidity. There’s funk, white wood, clear apricot tones, light dry, wild yeast... Aftertaste is tart apricot, woody bitter and some herbal malts with a funky jacket. Low carbo, tart light creamy aciditious mouthfeel, between medium and bit more medium bodied. Good beer, but misses some depth, but than again far from 1 dimensional!
