Cascade Apricot Ale is based on our Temptor Triple Ale that has undergone over 8 months of lactic fermentation and oak barrel aging. Ripe NW Apricots are fermented with this beer for 3 additional months. This hand packaged and bottle conditioned ale will only get better with age ... good luck waiting.

Bottle at the BA Buffalo bottle share. Pours golden amber with slight white head. Nose full of Brett and horse hair. Taste is puckering with an ample amount of apricot. Light slick creamy body.

Rating #1789 - 2015.06.27 - Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a slightly bubbly white cap. Light-medium body, medium carbonation. Aroma is ripe apricot - peachy. More sweet apricot and honey malt in the flavour, finishes with a little oak barrel hint and more than a little Brett punch. Nice.

Bottle at Sparkling City on Tap festival. Clear golden with a small whitish head. Aroma of sour fruit and straw with just a little discernible apricot. Sour and fruity taste. Medium bodied. Very nice.

Another fantastically sour piece of art. Aroma was nice. Sour vinegar and yeast. Nothing else. Pour was a nice hazy light gold with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was a slap in the face of sour goodness. No apricot flavor that I could detect which is fine since I hate apricot. Not much flavor gets through that sour wall. Nice carbonation.

Pours bright orange with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of sour fruits fresh and dried apricots, vinager, light sweet malts, and some wet hay. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a dry, pretty sour, long, lingering finish. Overall, an outstanding sour ale with some great apricot flavors.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2016 Draft at Bru Craft. Bottom of a keg first tapped at a Cascade event last week. Murky golden orange pour. Just a very thin fizzy white ring. Huge overripe apricot flavor. Very sharply sour (as expected) but much fuller than the bottle. Juicy. Piquant. Gigantic. Notes of bruised peaches, fresh cut hardwood, green apple sour candy, figs, kiwi and thistles. Fantastic!!!

Bottle from Albertsons. Not a big fan of yours, but Cascade is an exception. Hazy golden pour, big fruity nose leads into a taste and experience that tickles the palate at all levels. I don’t even like apricots that much, but this is tasty.
