Yellow/gold color pours with a nice white head. Good citrus flavors up front, some dank flavors, grassy...pretty well balanced and tasty beer.

On draught at Raccoon Lodge. Listed as Autumn IPA at 6.2%. Amber brown color. Aroma is sweet malt and citrus hops. The taste is a mellow balance of sweet malt and some resinous citrus hops. Less hopped than a normal IPA, but enjoy the sweet slightly bitter citrus finish.

Dark red to brown. Nose is grapefruit and spices. Sweet taste undertones like candy corns. Bitterness is pretty one dimensional with west coast piney qualities the sweetness is certainly redeeming

Listed as Autumn IPA. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. A light yeasty nose with some apples and biscuit. The flavor is sweet fruity hops, more biscuit, a bit of yeast, dryness, some bitterness. Decent.

Tap at Cascade, Portland - 07/11/12. Hazy dark amber with a mahoosive off white forthy head. Nose is caramel malt, pine, hops, light vegetal tones. Tastes of caramel malts, hops, some toffee and biscuit notes. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate leading to a bitter finish. OK.

Draft, Beveridge Place Pub. Brown pour, off-white head. Toasty and floral aroma, a little citrusy lemon rind. Toasty biscuity flavor with a bit of caramel, but not too sweet. Has some brown ale-ish flavors, very autumny. Leafy hop flavor, herby, floral a little citrus. Finishes dry. Great IPA that stands out.

Draft at special brews. Pours a hazy rubied medium amber with a dense and.creamy off white head. Big sweet grapefruit and tangerine nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, and citrus mid palate. Mild finish
Earlier Rating: 11/18/2008 Total Score: 3.7
Draft at the brewery. This is a lovely little brit IPA, perfect for fall. Dark grainy brownish amber with a loose and sudsy off-white head. Mild tangerine and toast nose. Creamy medium body with a bit of assertive carb and a pleasant roughness to it. Ron’s a master at that grainy, slightly under-attenuated mouthfeel. Never gets in the way, never feels out of place, never feels like an oversight. Wet leaves, some toast, bit of biscuit--great mid-palate malt base under a nice subtle roll of fruit preserves with a clean finish. Very drinkable.
