2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Appear: pretty purpley, muddy cranberry color. Pink head, dissipates quickly. Sexy.
Aroma: blueberry funk, sour - weird. Blueberries wrapped in plastic.
Taste: moderate sour at front, blueberries add sweetness.
Palate: lively carb, medium body.
Overall: blueberry taste not as strong as smell, but wow blueberry does not blend well with other beer flavors here. Disappointing, especially at $20/ bottle. Will not buy again. The "sour" is nice though, were it not for the blueberry :(.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at beer authority. Purple tinted brown with smal purplish white head. Vinous, vanilla, blueberry juice, dry chalky tartness, hint of cheese funk and lightly spiced butter. Fruity blueberry tartness, moves into lemon and hint of cheese, dry chalky finish with touch of vanilla and oak.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Light plum color. Aroma of tart lactic acid and ripe berries. Lovely tartness followed by blueberries that lingers before a dry finish. Top-notch sour.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big thanks to Curtis from Cascade for the sample at Brouwer’s! Pours pinkish red, with a small head. Vinous nose -- really not much berry -- actually a bit vegetal. Some yeast, some leather. The berry, although not much of it, comes in the flavor, which really holds back on the tartness for a Cascade brew. It’s somewhat tasty, but it really (really) needs more oomph.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Shared at a recent tasting. Acquired in a trade with Thorpe429 & drabmuh.
The beer is bluish purple colored and clear with a light purple head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. A mouth watering appearance.
The aroma is just sublime. Blueberry pie with subtle notes of vanilla and a nice tartness. A beer to sniff and savor as long as your willpower can last.
Blueberries come through nicely. Mild acetic and lactic quality. Not nearly as sour as many other Cascade offerings, but refreshing and tart.
Creamy and smooth. A light sweetness from the berries offers balance.
Overall, I am quite pleased to hear this will be released in bottles. I look forward to having this again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a deep violet colored body with a finger-width, dense and frothy, pinkish purple head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is rich blueberries with a nice tartness, wheat malts with a light sweetness, florals, some funk, and a light wood. Flavor is similar. Blueberries with a light sweetness and wheat note, a moderate sourness, a light funk, some florals, and wood. Finishes dry, tart, fruity, and lightly sweet before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Light body and a somewhat lively, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid sour. Lots of blueberries with a nice tartness, some florals, wheat, and a light woody funk. Nice beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at the BA Buffalo bottle share. Pours red amber, small head. Nose of Brett and berries. Taste is more of the same plus a strange bandaid aftertaste. Body is light and slick textured. Not a terrible brew, perhaps not the best example from this sour brewery.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared at Harvest festival. Purple-blue pour with small head. Blueberries are definitly present in the aroma, very lactic too. Something artificial too I seemed to find in most Cascade beers I’ve had. Taste is very lactic and sour. Blueberries are more tamed and you can feel the oak.

Another group crush and another shout to my boy Roach. Pours purple with lively carbonation. Sour funkiness running through this entire beer with some blueberry sweetness balancing it out. Num.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy puprle/red color with a pinkish head. Nose is quite tart and lactic, but also has a nice fruity sweetness to it. Some blueberry, lemon, and oak aromas. Flavor has a bit of sweet fruit jam character. Lemon sourness is quite strong. A pretty decent fruity blueberry flavor along with a light oak and must. Not very funky, but quite dry on the finish.
