Bottle, as a road beer at THE Stout Tasting. Cheers to Bruce for sourcing this! The pour’s deep, murky purple with a modest reddish head. The nose is earthy blueberry patch, sweet baked blueberry cake, a bit of woodland funk. The taste is mild lactic funk, plenty of blueberry jam and sweet cake. A bit of general herb. Smooth, lightly tart finish. Nice, bouncy, lively body. Easy to drink. Overall, a nice beer. It’s quite simple, but tasty.

Bottle shared with friends. I’ve always loved Cascade sours but this one sort of fell short of my expectations. The color has a blueish tint to it, good carbonation and a light sour aroma. However the flavor just didn’t have enough blueberry for me. Maybe I’m being too harsh here but it’s just my opinion.

4oz taster at DBS. Aroma is much nicer blueberry than the flavor. You get a lot of the berry skin in the mouth, lots of carbonation, and light Brett. Cascade Apricot is much better than Blueberry. Figaro blows them all away. Fair beer.

750 cc bottles from Smith’d and Capone’s. Pours hazy raspberry/magenta colored with fizzy light pink head tghat laces well. Nose is freshly picked blueberries, earthy woody notes. Tastes very tart, lactic, with a fresh tart blueberry flavor. Finishes acidic and fruity. This one kicks ass.

Stunning purplish-red body, massive dense white head, frothy foamy lacing. Nose shows a rich lactic blueberry muffin character. Some oak and must is also present. Flavor is more fruit forward with slightly sweeter blueberry notes controlling. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation and nice lactic acidity.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2013 Thanks thomas15 for sharing. Poured from 750mL a deep purple/red with a bubble gum pink head. Smells of pure funk with slight blueberry. Tastes the same as it smells but with a nice tart finish. Fantastic sour.

Was forced to open this a little sooner than I would've liked, but great sour overall. True blueberry flavor wasn't very apparent, but delicious sour, funk and great carbonation. I'm definitely hoping to have a chance to taste it again.

2012. Unlike the previous batch, this looks like a blueberry beer: it's blue! Smells like a fresh crop of blueberries too. Phenolic at first, quickly subsiding to a berry-centric profile with minimal tartness. Shows more maturity than its previous vintage. I like this.

Delightfully tart with a hint of blueberry. Surprisenly tasty herbal body that ends with a pleasingly dry finish. Wishing I had more right now.
