Delightfully tart with a hint of blueberry. Surprisenly tasty herbal body that ends with a pleasingly dry finish. Wishing I had more right now.

Bottle. Pours with a vibrant red-purple hued body with a small, fizzy head. Aromas are very tart, lightly funky (mostly clean), fruity, estery and jammy. Flavors are very very tart, jammy, blueberries, tannin. Clean. Acidic blueberry pie, low malt, light acetic acid. Lively bubbles, puckering and dry. Low oak. Tasty.

Pours a purplish reddish color with a medium purplish head. Aroma has tart/sourness with oak with mild berry notes. Flavor has lemony tartness with light blueberry and subtle oak. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is tart lemony/blueberry and dry.

Light cloudy purple with a small pale head. Aroma is blueberries, funk. Well balanced on the palate, lots of sweet fruit backed by a nice sourness. Taste is blueberries, red fruits. Quite tasty.

750ml bottle. Once again courtesy of Todd. Thank you... Cork had a little tension built up and was stubborn to open but eventually conceded. Bottle opened with a small pop, non-gushing, and yields a deep semi-lively violet purple and topped with a thin soapy white head... Aroma of a fruitcentric blueberry forwardness, a touch of sourness, sweet tarts, and a whisper of oak. Nice sour fruit character lacking any bugs or funk in the nose ... Flavors of muted and earthy blueberry notes initially. Not tremendously sour or acidic in any way to begin with but more of a focused lively semi-dry blueberry fruit persuasion with more of a developed sour aspect as it warms. Fruit continues through the middle and finishes on an off-dry note. Lighter bodied than what I was expecting with a sprite lively mouthfeel. Lacking any type of funk character or deeper level of complexity but a pretty nicely conceived sour fruit beer overall. This grew on me more as I worked my way through my glass.

Bottle. Clear bright red with a small foamy pink head. Sweet blueberry, tart lemon and sour apple aroma. Bright lively palate. Tastes of lemon up front followed by lightly sugary blueberry flavors and finishing with acidic sour fruit flavors and a very dry finish. Very good.

Bottle. 2012 vintage. Pours a deep purple color with a pinkish head that quickly dissipates. Sweet blueberry aroma mixed with some lemon zest sourness as well. Medium/light mouthfeel win carbonation. Zesty, light sourness upfront that then transitions to a blueberry fruit flavor with some mild funkiness. Tasty. More fruit forward when young.

Bottle. Beautiful ruby purple color, pinkish reddish head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma is dusty berries, cherry, subtle lemon. Taste is softly sour forest berries and a bit of fruitcake. Very nice.
