Another group crush and another shout to my boy Roach. Pours purple with lively carbonation. Sour funkiness running through this entire beer with some blueberry sweetness balancing it out. Num.

Pours a cloudy puprle/red color with a pinkish head. Nose is quite tart and lactic, but also has a nice fruity sweetness to it. Some blueberry, lemon, and oak aromas. Flavor has a bit of sweet fruit jam character. Lemon sourness is quite strong. A pretty decent fruity blueberry flavor along with a light oak and must. Not very funky, but quite dry on the finish.

Pours golden with purple and red. Aroma of Brett, funk and blueberries. Taste follows, funky sour with fruity blueberries. Light and tart. Really nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Draught and 750ml) Pours a violet body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of blueberries, caramel, florals, horse blanket, and medicinal. Flavor of blueberries, leather, earth, and light medicinal.

In short: A lightly funky, not-so-sour and very fruity ale with plenty of berries. Excellent

The look: Cloudy dark red body topped by a small pink-ish head
In long: Nose is very fruity (all kinds of berries, not just blueberries) with a bit of funk. Taste is very fruity, sharp and clean, only a light sourness and mild lactic acidity. Oak remains discreet. This is as much a fruit beer (and an excellent one at that) as it is a Sour/Wild ale. Maybe because it was still young and the funk will transform the beer. I will eventually drink a full bottle of this and re-evaluate what it has evolved, but a fresh sample proved to be a superb mildly funky fruit ale. Anyway, it was well worth crushing thousands of blueberries to make this great beer, just like it was well worth drowning hundreds of babies to make that great Nirvana Nevermind cover.

Thanks Reg for sharing this. Pours a pinkish clear red. Nose starts with some barnyard funk followed by the blueberries. Quite effervescent, with citrus and lemon flavors mixed with blueberries. Sour, but not too acetic. It did have a cotton like dryness that had a aspirin like taste in the finish. The tartness was mild. A privilege to share a fine beer like this with my friends.

Bottle at the Funky 8, Brooklyn, NYC. A real stunner. Has a very true blueberry character. Extremely fresh and highly tart. Great balance, nice acidic bite. Dries out modestly in the finish amidst full and sincere blueberry tang. Very, very good beer.

Bottle: The aroma consists of blueberries and just a touch of lemon. It pours a mostly transparent purplish-red with a touch of haze and a minimal head. The flavor starts with a quick dose of blueberry. The finish has light-moderate musty lemon and some light funk. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation.

750ml bottle thanks to TheBeerSommelier. pours a deep ruby with a white head. nice tart blueberry nose with lactic acid and light funk. med to full body with more tart blueberry notes, lacto, light barnyard flavors and a very dry finish with more acidic notes and deep fruit tones.
