Another group crush and another shout to my boy Roach. Pours purple with lively carbonation. Sour funkiness running through this entire beer with some blueberry sweetness balancing it out. Num.

2011 project bottle opened with a noce pop of the cork. Pour has a cherry red in color and a thin coat of off white head that fell right off. Aroma has real blueberry, oak, medium acidity, mild fruit sweetness, and berry skins. Mouth feel is light and there is medium carbonation. Flavor brings a surprising acid snap, blueberry skins, dry oak, mild blueberry, and a good pucker factor.

2011 Vintage. Shared with some great friends at our Blueberry tasting event. Poured into a Hill Farmstead glass
A - SRM of 18. Dark red / amber appearance. Bubbly head that fades incredibly fast.
S - Lactic and vinegar scent. Slight hint of blueberries and some tart almost raspberry nose as well.
T - Yeah. Nice pleasant blueberry taste that fades quickly to akin to an apple cider vinegar.Taking a mouthful of it and doing a light swish, I"m picking out more of the sweet blueberry taste.
M - Nice blueberry skin tanning dryness. Super fleeting sweetness. 50/50 carbonation on my mouth swish. Light body and yeah. Super insane dry finish like eating a lot of blueberries.
O - Yeah, the start of this glass was pretty weak and bland and very much an apple cider acidic bomb. Then, as it breathed, the blueberries came out nicely. Itís nice. 89/100. Not fantastic but a solid American Wild beer with a nice Blueberry sweetness.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance: Pours a bright magenta with a foamy head that quickly subsides to a film.
Aroma: Blueberry, blush wine, oak and cork. Lots of lactic funk.
Taste: Funk, phenols, a little bit of ban daid, sour blueberry, slighly grainy wheat. Low tannins alcohol well.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with modest carbonation.
Overall: Very tasty, pretty funky compared to other fresh-ish Cascade sours Iíve tried. Really wish I had more to try over time.

Tasted on 5/11/12 from a corked and caged 750mL bottle brought to me by my friend Chris, big thanks Chris. Pours deep purple/blood red with an average pink head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is sweet blueberry with some vanilla oak, sour lemon, and overall, dominated by fresh blueberries. The flavor is nicely sour with the lemon, a lightly creamy vanilla note, and tons of blueberry, including the skin. The body is medium with fairly lively carbonation and a long sour blueberry skin finish.
