EBF Boston mars 2015.

Bottle served in a tulip. 2009 vintage, opened in early 2015 for a special occasion. Big pop and then it starts to gush. Poured quickly without loosing a drop. Lovely murky mid-dark brown pour with a decent sized light brown head. Monster nose: Vanilla, bourbon, dark fruit and heavy cinnamon. Also somewhat floral. Medium plus sour and mildly sweet on the palate. Medium body, decent carbonation, and a tart, light tannic finish. Complex, powerful and warming. Incredible showing especially considering it’s age.

2011 bottle to glass. Bday gift from my brother. Pours a deep brown color with a fizzy tan head. Aroma is tart, sweet molasses, touch of bourbon, vanilla. Flavor has a solid tartness up from that quickly transforms into a molasses and candy sugary sweetness. Faint smoky Bourbon in the finish. Unique. Quite tasty.

Bottle share. Clear deep red brown. Big legs. Aroma of bourbon, bright sour cherry and raisin. Taste is full sweetness and a sour balance. A tingly finish from booze, but not unpleasant.

Sampled at the Kick Starter event at the Humboldt Cider Company to help fund their new tasting room. Pours near black with a light tan head. Nose of funk and oak, along with some fruit and chocolate. Full body, Rich mouth feel. Flavor is a lot of wine barrel and the sourness is very present and this carries over to the finish. I really liked this.

Brown pour with tan head and lace. Aroma is light sweet chocolate, light sour fruitiness, and roasty. Flavor is sweet chocolate, toucho bb, and tart cherries. Medium bodied and a tad fizzy for me. solid
