On tap at the barrel house. Dark brown pour with a thick brown head. Aroma is tart cherries, bourbon, some roast notes. Flavor is big and boozy. The tartness plays nicely with the fruit and malt notes. This was an amazing beer. Really nice.

On tap at the barrelhouse. Pours hazy brown with a finger light brown head. Amazing acidic cherry smell, strong, earth and estery banana. Taste is light up front, but very strong yeast and cherry and an almost vegetable quality toward the finish. Very well done.

Live barrel at the Barrel House - Pours murky brown with no head. Nose is deep and malty, sweet with sour cherry and bourbon sweetness. Taste is big and sweet with lots of sourness and malt. Not too tart, but restrained. Toffee sweetness hinted at on the finish, along with some Smarties tartness and black cherry. Smooth, big body. It’s good, but a little all over the place.

Live, gravity drawn barrel @ Their Barrel House... Poured opaque, dark brown and a khaki head. Cherry and fruity with acidic tartness. Not totally acetone as many of their recent blends have been. Ashy, dry palate. Some caramel sweetness an whiskey from the barrels. Finished with candied sweetness, toasted grains and sugars, oak, and alcohol burn.

Live barrel at the barrel house. Pours murky dark mahogany with little head. Aroma is cherry/bourbon/vanilla. Full bodied. Flavor is sour cherry with subdued bourbon/vanilla/oak. With time the sour mellows, the cherry subsides a bit, and the b/v increases. Complex and tasty beer.

Live from the barrel at the Barrel House - turbid dark red - nose of spicy cinnamon, cherries, oak, vanilla, bourbon - semi-tart flavor - cherry skins, leather, dry oaky tannins - moderate vanilla and light bourbon late - cinnamon and other spices - alcohol is not evident at all - warm cinnamon finish - probably the highlight of my stay here.
