"VINTAGE Diesel (2013) 10% ABV" is what it says on the beer list here at the brewery brewpub. The "staff favorite" is absolutely amazing, as one can tell from merely sniffing it. It smells as good as any liquer, candy or baked good I’ve ever had, and bears some resemblance to each of these. Loads of toffee mix with bourbon (Heaven Hill?), vanilla, and mild wood flavors. Nicely sweet, rich and complex. Unfortunately, there’s only about 40 more 4 oz servings left then it will be gone forever.

Black. Strong vanilla aroma and taste which implies some kind of Bourbon hook up. Balance of sweetness and bitterness is great. Smooth, rich and creamy.

Borefts VII. Day 1. Keg, in the old Mill. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Good dark chocolate malts that also bring cream and an unusual nutty sweetness. Modest dark fruits. Spicy dry crisp finish. Decent.

(Cascade Diesel Imperial Stout) Tap at the "American Beer Bar" during Borefts ’15. ABV 8.8% Pitch black colour on the body, small beige head, thick enough, with average retention. Very interesting aroma with fruits, molasses, syrup, red fruits, berries, prunes. Great taste too, with berries, grapes, syrup, red stewed fruits. Medium thick body, good carbonation, sticky palate. Amazing beer.
