"Beer 4k. Hands down, best beer of NW invasion 2013! Apparently there are different variations, but the mix of rye whiskey and bourbon vanilla beans caught my eye here. Don’t know what to say - aroma of milk and dark chocolate, vanilla, whiskey bourbon, malted chocolate ball flavor. So rich and decadent, yet so stinking smooth., went backfor 2nds and 3rds as we may not see this one again. Nearly perfectly achieved what they were going for."

Sarlacc83 (900) - Oregon, USA - MAY 6, 2014
On tap. A: Thick mahogany with a cappuccino hat. Leggy. Looks nice. N: Licorice, caramel, vanilla, and bourbon. Malted milk-balls, cocoa, char and oak. Marshmallow, cinnamon, and dark cherry. Quite inviting. T: Very very sweet with an overwhelming bourbon presence. Moderate char bitterness. M: Huge booze presence. Enormous. Heavy body, but it’s not exactly sticky. O: Nose is quite alluring, but the entire package comes up short. If the body was bigger, the balance on the palate was better, and the bourbon integrated more carefully, it’d be a winner.

black, thin lacing tan head. Chocolate heavy nose is sweet with light roasts. Front is chocolate and oat, marshmallow growing mid before faint cardboard and chocolate finish, lightly minty in sweet and boozy end.
