This NW style sour ale is a strong blond ale aged in chardonnay barrels for up to 12 months, then aged with dried white figs and lemon peel or up to 12 more months. Aromas of sweet figs, golden raisins, and citrus zest are the first to be noticed. Hints of white wine grapes, lemon peel, and sweet figs roll across the palate, leading to a crisp lemon tartness in the finish that leaves a lingering sweetness on the tongue.

23/IX/16 - on tap @ Borefts Bier Festival - BB: n/a (2016-1034) Thanks to the Belgian ratebeer crew for sharing today’s beers!

Clear orange beer, creamy solid off-white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: funky, sourish, urine, pretty dirty smell. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish, nice fruity start, but then a very dirty nasty flavour, infected, sourish, vinegar, earthy, unpleasant bitterness. I don’t like this one at all... :(

Fuck! another Cascade to tick. Draft at BBH, This one was straight up nail polish, vinegar, fake blanket, and the most sour lemon skinned candy you could imagine. I feel bad for the people who drink these and enjoy them. Not only was the sourness painful but this clocks in at 10 percent. Would like to use this and salt to clean some glass pieces.
