On tap at Cascade. A: Pale straw color with very thin lacing. N: Honey, predominant lime, and ginger ale. Not complex, but as advertised. Lactic sourness. T: Lemon and lime like 7up. Ginger is melded well. A little spiciness from the rye. Green apple candy. This is very much like a wine cooler. M: Somewhat spritzy and sticky. O: Is what it says. Very refreshing, like alcoholic soda. ne of the best things I’ve had from Cascade.

Definitely as advertised... Very refreshing sour, with prevalent notes of lime up front and ginger... Sweetness from the honey is evident, nicely done

On tap at the brewpub in Portland, OR. Pours a lightly clouded golden colored body with a finger-width, frothy and creamy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is big ginger and fresh lime zest. Some sweet honey behind the lime and ginger with a nice tartness. Flavor is similar. Tart limes and ginger up front with a sweet honey backing. Finishes clean and dry with a light tartness and smooth honey note. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a tasty and interesting sour. Tons of lime zest and ginger with a nice honey sweetness and solid dry tartness. Good one.

Tap at Cascade, Portland - 07/11/12 @ 7.5% ABV. Lightly hazed blonde with a thin white head that clears to the edges. Nose is sour fruits, light vinegar, lime forward, background ginger. Taste is a little sweeter than the nose suggests, lime to the fore once again, light ginger in the background, a little sweetness but not picking up honey specifically. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a slightly sticky and sweet sour finish.

Draft at NCBC. Pours a hazy burnished medium amber with very little loose white head. Big sweet nose; the honey ginger and lime all show up and make it very candy like--it’s like an awesome sour rock candy. Maybe a little on the oversweet side for a beer. Fizzy medium body. Tangy tart sharply sweet presence on the mid palate, really explosively flavored. Tangy longish finish.

Pours a hazy gold with a fluffy white head. The nose definitely brings the lime part of the mix. Vinuous palate. This enters with tart lime flavors, but yields to a sweeter candied ginger which lingers seemingly forever.

Taster @ Barrel house. Pours uriney, small white head. Great lacing. Aroma is a little ginger and lime. Flavor is a lot of lime, and honey on the finish. Very lively and just sour enough... Fantastic sour.

Draft. Pours a clear amber, with off white head. Strong ginger aroma. Favor also has a lot of ginger, tart lime juice, honey sweetness, a bit of oaky sourness, and herbs. Interesting that this beer tastes very much like the name, so they accomplished their goal with this beer.

On draft at the Raccoon Lodge in Oregon. Orange pour, slightly hazy, white lacing abound. Nose is bright lime, honey and as young have guessed, ginger. Sharp tastes of ginger and lime with a subtle sweetness from the honey underlying them. Excellent level of sourness here. A fantastic beer!

On tap at the Barrel House - Pours hazy yellow with a white filmy head. Lots of ginger on the nose, with light salty citrus. Taste has ginger prominent with a salty lime presence, almost like a lime margarita. Carbonation makes it drink like a soda. Awesome stuff.
