mostly clear amber. orange, wood oil and vanilla sweetness up front with medium-light bitterness that doesn’t match and balance the sweetness. rounded, sweet, syrupy texture with a burnt grain husk and orange oil flavor. not enjoyable.

Grapefruit and passion fruit on the nose. A deep golden color with frothy white head. Citrus hop flavor suchs the moisture from the mouth and finish is quick and bitter. Low carbonation and light body make this seem like a cask ale. Very drinkable and tempered approach to an IPA.

Nose is somewhat catty with hints of floral hops, toast, caramel, and citra hops. The citra becomes more evident as it warms. Pours copper/amber, off white head, light lace. The flavor is toasty and lightly sweet with caramel malts, hints of iced tea and nice juicy but moderately assertive citra hops in the finish. Bitterness level is on the low end of medium. Mouthfeel is a little heavy and leaning towards more malt than hops, but well made and solid if unspectacular.
