Flavor is tons of cherry and dark red fruits. Finish is lemon, unripe fruit, acetic acid. Very bitter and tart lingering flavors. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Good to end the day. Good to reach 1000. Yay!

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Deep hazy brown coloured body with hints of ruby, red and brown when held up to a light, all with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of sour cherries, oak, lemons, yeast, alcohol, raspberries and more sour notes - very nice and mouthwatering! Medium-bodied; Great sour flavour at first with a lot of cherries coming through, some yeast, a little malt, good brett and a little pungent sweetness at the end - very smooth, but still with tons of flavour. Aftertaste shows mostly the sour cherries, but some lemons, malt, grapes and oak notes also come through - but all go down very easily and leave the mouth wanting the next sip! Overall, a great American created Flemish sour with some amazing cherry flavours and oak notes. Definitely worth trying to search out anything to find this one, especially if you like sours. This is perhaps the best American based sour that I’ve had since NB La Folie or NG Belgium Red - I plan on getting a bunch of these to cellar. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Pear Deli in Seattle, Washington on 11-February-2013 for US$15.30 sampled at home in Washington on 30-July-2013.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle traded by Jtclockwork. Aroma of tart cherries, a caramel black cherry and sour apples. Pours murky dull dark red with very little film. Taste is an amazing tart experience. Tart sour green cherries, black cherry soda, caramel, and crabapple with just a hint of oaky cheese. Super intense. These guys do not disappoint with their sours.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The beer is a light ruby hue and moderately hazy. Small off white head with copious lacing. The aroma is musty and funky, with notes of oak, sour cherries, and wild yeast. Wow, intensely sour. Huge presence of sour cherries soaking in oak barrels. Palate attacking, cheek assaulting sourness. Oh yeah. Loving it.
