4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap, poured in to a tulip. Cherry red with a brownish tinge, slightly hazy, off white / light brick red head. Aromas of sour funk, cherry, raspberry. Flavor is very sour, cherry, fresh cut cedar, earthy wild berry. Not too sweet. Leaves mouth tingly and only slightly dry. An excellent kriek.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a light red wine. Aroma is of a classic very well put together Kriek. Taste follows. A VERY nice Kriek. The perfect amount of sourness to compliment the tartness.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a brownish red color from a 750 bottle. It smells like it always does, despite being about four years old. The taste is very tart still and the cherry flavors are still present. Overall, still one of the best Flanders Style Krieks you can find in the United States.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample from 2011 vintage at the Barrel House. Pours a reddish-copper color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Cherries, yeast and oak in the nose. Medium-bodied with a moderately tart cherry character and notes of earthy yeast, vanilla and oak. The finish is fruity with a mildly sour cherry aftertaste. Good all around.

Bottle at the Toronado. Aroma and flavor of cherry mash and brett with a nice barnyard aspect. Surprisingly better than Peach or Blueberry. Very good beer.
