750ml bottle. Rating #228. Beautiful dark red color with a dusty white head. Sour cherry aroma, very mouthwatering. Light tartness, dry cherries and grape skins, very nice brew. (1693)

Bottle shared by Madvike. As always thanks Matt! I had high hopes after the apricot. Not that this one bad, but there was nothing that really stood out on this one. It kinda was all just its own deal. Not a bad sour, just not one I would seek out again.

Bottle from hbmason...thanks Tim! - Pours rosy amber, murky with a small, thin off-white head. Sour, rotting black cherry, balsamic vinegar, light cheese, a touch of oak, and a bit of milky sourness. Taste is roughly the same, with slightly bitter cherry juice, lots of lactic milkiness, a bit of balsamic vinegar, and a bit of off sourness. The finish is pretty malty, with the cherry juice returning and lasting through the finish. Real smooth in the mouth, well-carbonated but not overly so. Didn’t like this one as much as the apricot though--the lactic sourness just doesn’t work very well with the dark cherry juice.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits. Soda brown color with a tint of red. Bright but off-white head that leaves a ring. Cherry aroma - yeast, tart, and light funk. Tastes are sharp berry and vinegar - wood, sour, tart, dry and then another wave of tart. Soft but prominent carbonation. Leaves a stick sour aftertaste. Opens up as it warms.

The beer is dark brown with some red highligts and light red head that rises a finger. The retention and lacing are ok. The aroma is light with some notes of oak, cherry and some tartness. The taste is very complex and balanced with lots of oak, cherry and a nice sour finish. It brings a lot to the table and allows you to enjoy this whether your like sour or oaky beers. The feel is nice and incredibly drinkable.

Reviewed from notes. 2009 vintage. Pours a moderate amber-ruby color with a bit of an off white head and some lacing. Nose brings cherry, cherry, and cherry. Also some green apples and light oak notes. The taste is dark and bright cherries with a really nice sourness level and a bit of funk. The feel is quite good, with some puckering lactic sourness and a tiny bit of acetic character. Drinks quite well and is another solid hit from them. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 10-24-2010

I wanna say 2007 from @stoad

Appearance: Pours a deep reddish translucent brown with a subsided off white head.

Aroma: Sour and sweet cherry. Very real, not car air freshener like at all.

Taste: Super sour cherry and bitter, tart pit.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with modest lively carbonation.

Overall: Very tasty, and great levels of believable cherry.
