This is a good beer. Aggressively sour and wild. Hollow on the midpalate. Feels thin, which makes the beer refreshing but not all that interesting.

2011 draught at brewery. Cloudy red. Aroma of funky sour cherries, wood, and a weird meatiness, but in a good way. Taste is sour with a touch of sweetness. Palate is sticky, tingly, astringent, and medium carbonation. Long dry finish.

My fav kriek from this side of pond. Very cherry and raspberry. Light carbonation. There is a dimension of funk and oak. Tart flavors kept me wanting to have more. Cherry is the best.

750 mL bottle enjoyed in Cali on vacation. The pour is a dark ruby with a light pink head and some spectacular lace. The aroma is sour and tart with a heavy funk and tart cherries. There is a nice oakiness. The flavor is sharp and tart and beautiful. I like the funkiness and the cherry just carried away beautifully. It falls off a little quickly at the end. The mouth feel is thin and light and the carbonation is a little light. The aftertaste is lingeringly cherry and sour. It's good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light and malty and it pours really pretty, nice dry tart flavors with just a hint of that cherry sweetness ala a good cough syrup.

Draught at the Cascade Brewing Barrel House, Portland, OR. Clear deep ruby red colour with a small off-white head. Cherries, black cherries, mild sweetness, mild sugar and some sourness in the aroma. The flavour is cherries, candies, Knight Rider bubblegums from the 80's, mild sourness and some sugary sweetness. Very balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
