This is one of the best sour ales iíve ever had. Bitingly sour at first before mellowing out to a wonderful flavor. Iím usually disappointed by the lack of sour in american sours, but this lived up to itís billing and more. great stuff.

Thanks to Dan for this unexpected treat. 2010 vintage picked up at the brewery. Really nice looking cherry red with a big frothy white head. No sediment, but I also got the first pour! Smells like juicy sour cherry pie. The taste is so perfectly balanced and sour. Cherries were well pronounced and far surpassed my expectations. This is my number one sour for sure. So awesome. Must get more!

2011 vintage consumed on 11/22/13. From the second the bottle opens a wonderful aroma of sour cherries greets the nose. Color is a brightish red. The flavor is an incredibly bright sour with the cherries coming through magnificently without any of the Brett notes than can sometimes overwealm a lesser sour. As perfect an example of a Kriek that there is.

This is one incredibly sour beer. It hurt my cheeks. I was shocked to have missed this one. So good, with lots of cherries in the nose and taste. Sour, Sour, Sour. Great! Love it!

I happened to stumble upon this one in Deland on a beer trip with my family. I come to love sours a lot and this one really blew me away. The aroma had a lot of sour cherries with a little bit of oak as well. The flavor was super tart and fruity. The fruit flavors were balanced really well and everyone I shared it with seemed to really enjoy it.

Rating #4100! 2011 Bottle Deep hazy brown coloured body with hints of ruby, red and brown when held up to a light, all with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of sour cherries, oak, lemons, yeast, alcohol, raspberries and more sour notes - very nice and mouthwatering! Medium-bodied; Great sour flavour at first with a lot of cherries coming through, some yeast, a little malt, good brett and a little pungent sweetness at the end - very smooth, but still with tons of flavour. Aftertaste shows mostly the sour cherries, but some lemons, malt, grapes and oak notes also come through - but all go down very easily and leave the mouth wanting the next sip! Overall, a great American created Flemish sour with some amazing cherry flavours and oak notes. Definitely worth trying to search out anything to find this one, especially if you like sours. This is perhaps the best American based sour that Iíve had since NB La Folie or NG Belgium Red - I plan on getting a bunch of these to cellar. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Pear Deli in Seattle, Washington on 11-February-2013 for US$15.30 sampled at home in Washington on 30-July-2013. 2011 Bottle//Purchased February 2013//Sampled July 2013

2008 750ml bottle into snifter. Pours a dark red copper with small pink/beige head. Aroma is sour cherries, lilac, subtle honey, and gueuze - can tell this will be good by the smell alone. Taste is tart tart sour cherries, grapes, lemon/lime citrus on a bed of oak - sour as can be and I love it! Very crisp carbonation, which is great considering the distance this bottle traveled. Excellent Kriek, probably the best Iíve had.
