Taster at DBS. Strong red color, with a light cherry aroma. Strong cherry flavor up front, but the flavor quickly fades away to sour funk. Decent brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

15/VIII/15 - 75cl bottle @ We’re drinking all of Rich’s American beers tasting - BB: n/a (2015-1082) Thanks to omgrich for sharing the bottle!

Little cloudy rusty red brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sourish, funky, bit metallic, quite some chlorine. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, lots of sour cherries, some confiture. Aftertaste: little bitter, lemony sourness, lots of tannins, some vinegar.

At Rich’s Massive Cellar Emptying Tasting. 8.17% cascade Kriek is a muddy pinkish brown that reminds me of the New Glarus strawberry. Oaky cork cherry aroma, scratchy carbonation on a light body. The taste is quite good a sort of cherry caramel tart and fruity.

Aged 4 years. Murky amber with a lovely aroma of wood and cherry and earthy sourness. Really tasty sour flavor with loads of earthy sour, sour cherry, oak, and funky tartness. Really good.

Bottle from Four Seasons Liquor. Pours dark, dark red with a thin white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Lovely wood and Brett notes on the nose along with the cherry. Fruity and tart on the tongue. Lingers a bit as you’d expect. Very nice.

Bottle bought in SF in February 2015. Dark reddish/brown with a small head. Nicely sour with cherries, wood and some hints of malt. Nicely balanced and really refreshing. A great beer.

@ Gyllenbock 15-7-22: riktigt trevlig sour brown-doft. Rejält syrlig och mycket mustig. En herlig öl

Dégustée chez Alexandre Mathieu! Thanks man!

2014 project. This is phenomenal. Tannic woody slightly sweet cherry aroma with lactic sour. Taste is very sour. Maybe 8 or 9 of 10 lactic sour. Great. Super complex bold and flavorful. Woody, sour, dark fruit, cherry, tannic cherry, slight sweetness but balanced. The whole thing is just great very balanced and amazing. Love it. The dark fruit flavors from the wood and the cherry just perfectly compliments each other. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a reddish brown color with quickly disappearing big off white head. Sour, cherry, a slight touch cough medicine aromas. Quite sour, cherry, a touch of wood, grape skin flavors. Good sipping sour.

Only down side is huge money for this 750 bottle....forty bucks ouch. Never the less worth it as it has so much going on. Huge cherry aroma off the start. Poured rose red. Light head. Flavors of everything, from hay, barnyard bing cherries black cherries and ending of very tart acids. After all that the cherries cruise back in for the finish line. A+
