750 ml bottle @ ISKTR V. Pours a dark ruby amber colour with a small head. Aroma of dark cherries, syrupy sweetness and some wooden notes. Flavour of dark cherries, rather heavy sourness, heavy earthiness, sour worms, yeastiness, some spiciness and leather. Medium bodied. Sourness burns a bit too much here. Good.

75 cl bottle @ ISKTR V.
Pours clear dark mahogany color with a small head. Sourish fruits on the nose with sweet ripe fruits and caramel, some wooden notes too. Quite tart flavor, some wooden notes, cherries, ripe fruit notes and mild spices. I like the tartness here. Very good.

Great big cherries in the aroma. Sour black cherry smell and taste. Some oak and cheese, along with sour yeast notes. Very complex undertones of the funk. Cherries made this awesome.

750 ml bottle shared with padrefan during the PB Restaurant Walk. Ruby red pour with a rusty tan head that left nice lacing. Aromas of tart cherry and other bright fruit. Flavors were more cherry and some wood. Tart Tart Tart. Acidic and wonderful.

750 ml bottle - 2012 project. Pours dark mahoney amber, small to no head. Pungent woody nose, balsamic acid side of vinegar, tart cherries and bit of raspberries. Light aroma, immediate acidic attack, pure vinegar. Over its top. this is not a Belgian Flanders Style Red Ale, this is pure lactic fermentation. Aftertaste is fruit tannins, and interesting.

Taste: very fruity, lots of sour cherries, some confiture. Aftertaste: little bitter, lemony sourness, lots of tannins, some vinegar.

At Rich’s Massive Cellar Emptying Tasting. 8.17% cascade Kriek is a muddy pinkish brown that reminds me of the New Glarus strawberry. Oaky cork cherry aroma, scratchy carbonation on a light body. The taste is quite good a sort of cherry caramel tart and fruity.

Aged 4 years. Murky amber with a lovely aroma of wood and cherry and earthy sourness. Really tasty sour flavor with loads of earthy sour, sour cherry, oak, and funky tartness. Really good.
