Oakes (6966), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Mar 22, 2008 Slightly orange-tinged red colour with a thick, frothy head. Light cherryish nose is a bit too faint for my liking. Tart body, with some brown sugar and strange, almost phenolic notes. Slight stickiness detracts from the presentation. Reminds me of Storm’s lambics. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Aug 13, 2008 Date: 06/20/2008

CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 20, 2008 Bottle thanks to 11026: Pours a transparent ruby copper with a frothy, nicely-lacing light tan head with pinkish hues. Aroma of fresh sour cherries and oak with lightly sweet fruity complexity. Body starts with a slightly oily palate, effervescent carbonation and nice sweet and sour fruity cherry balance with oaky complexity toward the drier finish. Could use a little more body, but still a nice, very drinkable sour ale. hopscotch (4576), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Mar 18, 2008 Bottle… March 08 Tampa Bay Tasting... Murky caramel-colored ale with an orange tint and small, fizzy, white head. The nose proffers notes of English toffee, black cherries and lactic acid. Medium-bodied and astringent with feather-soft carbonation. Good balance. Fruity with moderate sweetness, modest bitterness and medium pungency. Watery, tangy finish. Muchos gracias to Degarth for popping the top on this one! acrdz (4362), Boulder, Colorado, USA Apr 5, 2008 750ml bottle thanks to 11602. Bit of a pasty lactic nose, stenchy feet and sour creamed cherries. Prickly, moderately sour and tart, with dried cherries, pits, etc. Milky finish, I mean basically there’s milk and butter all over this stuff... strange. Thought it would be better, and I guess it’s ok, but not knocking my socks off.
