Bottle with Carla. Pours a very bubbly light brown/red with large white bubbles. Smells lightly sweet of caramel. Tastes very sweet with hints of chocolate, caramel and light bitterness.

This is one fine tasting beer. As a Brown Ale, it actually tastes like brown, sweet, delicious, brown.

Aroma of nutty malt sweetness. Clear chestnut brown with very little head. Slightly medium-thin mouthfeel. Malty with a little medicine. Chewy for the thin mouthfeel. Not bad.

Sugary cereal aroma. Can’t get enough of that golden crisp! That and Postum. Clean hazelnut brown. Sweet and clean, more cereal, tasty beer.

Draught at the brewhouse in Redmond. Clear brown with a creamy head. Light toasty malt in the aroma but not much. This flavor with just a touch of toasty malt and some alcohol spice. This body. Bland overall. This needs more body and malt character.

Roasted malt backbone, nut and subtle wood accents. Sweet caramel note sewn in to a smooth, creamy silk body.

12 oz bottle shared with my buddy Nick. Light brown pour with a small tan head. Aroma is caramel malt with some slight roast and chocolate. Flavor pretty much identical, the caramel malt being the most prominent feature. Slightly dry finish.

Sample taster at John’s Market Place. Nose of roastiness, caramel, and a cocoa hint. Clear brown with a medium beige head. Flavor was caramel maltiness with only a hint of bitterness.
